Feeling Good

Every now and then a perfect day comes along. Have you had one of those? Where the sun is shining, peace reigns the day and even your dog smiles at you it seems. The George Michael rendition of “Feeling Good” keeps replaying in my mind….”

In a mother’s world, it’s a day where children entertain themselves quietly all day; their silence a display of their contentness. In a business world, it’s where every productive meeting follows another and quarterly results exceed all expectations. In a wife’s life, it’s a day where you, looking stunning in that Hervé Leger dress, greet your husband as he comes home early, flowers in hand and he whisks you away for an adventure. For the writer, it’s a day where inspiration is a stream of consciousness where words flow out effortlessly and incessantly.

Today is one of those days for me, the individual. I’m in a great mood (for no apparent reason or maybe just a combination of the reasons above) and I feel a connection to the cosmos. Don’t be bogged down with the ethereal word, “cosmos,” but rather think of a day where you just feel good. A day when you are tapped into the Source Energy that surrounds us, a day where that “feel good” emotion permeates the day, drenching us with its positivity.

Think of a day where every idea you have is a good one, where things flourish at the mere thought of them, where instant manifestation is a fact rather than a concept. A rare day like this deserves gratitude and acknowledgement so that you can soak it in and like magic, make it happen again and again. Tell the Universe, “I like this,” so it hears you and delivers many more with ease. Hear the record play in your mind over and over and truly take the time to “feel good” and let it envelope you with all its’ richness. It’s a great day!
